My Israel's Miracle Brand Design and Development

My Israel’s Miracle is an organic haircare product line developed by Brian K. Marks, an entrepreneur responsible for building multiple successful haircare companies including Dr. Miracles and African Pride. Brian’s aim was to create a haircare product that embodied the spiritual and energizing effect he experienced during his trips to Israel as well as the healing properties the nature and monuments offered him there. In collaboration, we developed a direction for this brand’s identity which began with the logo and extended out to the packaging, website, and social media design.

Process

The illustrations used in the logo and packaging represent a combination of organic herbs with healing and strengthening properties, including Cassia, Hyssop, and Cinnamon. The brand illustrations are hand-drawn to evoke an emotional experience rooted in a series of underlying values including the celebration of feminine beauty, positivity and health through body/mind awareness, and honoring the sacred connection we have to nature.
